Yoke means union. At Yoke Yoga, we come together to build a digital sangha, a space of connection, curiosity, and care. Whether you are here to practice or to share, we are all part of this experiment in living our yoga on and off the mat. The app is a gathering place for people walking the path of wellness and wisdom, in real life and real time.
Here, we share our practices and wellness journeys. We support each other as we journey together. Please comment, connect and share, do not pitch. No ads. Keep it clean and uplifting. Let yourself be seen. Good light and clear sound matter. Respect the space. Check your formatting before posting, avoid watermarks from other apps, and honor the spirit of yoga by showing up as yourself, not a brand.
Some members are Verified Yogis. Verified Yogis are yoga leaders and teachers who help us build a digital sangha where wisdom expands through shared experience. Together, we are creating a community rooted in practice, not perfection. What you post and how you participate shapes the energy of this space. Please be thoughtful, kind, and grounded.
Yoke Yoga exists because we believe everyone deserves access to authentic, inclusive yoga and the tools to live well.
By accessing or using the Yoke Yoga website, app, or related services (the Services), you agree to these Terms of Service (the Terms) and to our Privacy Policy, Copyright Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
We may modify these Terms to reflect improvements or legal updates. When changes occur, we will post and when possible, email you. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
We value your privacy. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact support@yokeyoga.com so we can delete it.
Users must be 18 or older, or 13 and older with a parent or guardian’s consent. Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
Account security. Do not share your login or password. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
Third party login. You may sign up or log in using another platform such as Apple, Google, or Facebook. If you do, you permit Yoke Yoga to access certain account information as allowed by your settings on those platforms.
You agree not to:
Messaging consent. By creating an account, you agree to receive occasional Yoke Yoga messages such as community updates, reminders, and support information. You can adjust marketing preferences or opt out of non-essential messages in your account settings. Service and transactional communications may still be sent.
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
Yoke Yoga offers three participation levels.
(a) General Members (Free). Explore free videos, posts, and classes. Share reflections that follow our Community Guidelines.
(b) Premium Members (Paid). Premium Members receive expanded access such as the Yoga Studio library, ad-free viewing, and evolving benefits.
(c) Verified Yogis. Apply to become a verified yogi here. Premium Members may apply for or be invited to become Verified Yogis, identified by the green checkmark. Verified Yogis help lead the community by teaching, sharing, and modeling the practice. They are co-Members of our Social Nervous System, a digital yoga space that restores, regulates, and connects.

Verification may open the door to future revenue share or stipend opportunities as the program evolves. No compensation is guaranteed.
All Users/Members and Verified Yogis may post videos, classes, reflections, or other media (Member Content) to share their yoga and wellness journeys. All Member Content must be original work owned or properly licensed by the Member.
Members retain ownership of their original videos and posts. By uploading any content to Yoke Yoga, you grant Yoke Yoga a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, publicly perform, and display that content, including for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes, in any media now known or later developed.
For paid or exclusive content such as subscription based videos or commissioned works, Yoke Yoga will own the content as a work made for hire. If that is not legally possible, you assign all rights in that content to Yoke Yoga.
You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Yoke Yoga content or other users’ content outside the platform without permission from the relevant rights holder.
Members and Verified Yogis are independent contractors. They are not employees or agents of Yoke Yoga. They are responsible for taxes, expenses, equipment, and legal compliance.
Users, Members, and Verified Yogis acknowledge that participation is primarily for connection, practice, and visibility. At this time, Yoke Yoga does not guarantee any payment, stipend, or profit share. Yoke Yoga may introduce incentive, partnership, or revenue-sharing programs under separate written terms called a Member Monetization Addendum. Unless you have signed such terms, you are not entitled to payment.
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid DMCA takedown notices. Do not upload material you do not own or have rights to. Repeat infringement may result in account termination.
AI may assist with captions or clarity. All videos must be authentic human-created works. Training, scraping, or using Yoke Yoga content or data to train AI or machine learning models is not allowed without written consent.
Yoke Yoga is not a medical or healthcare provider. Our content is for general educational and wellness purposes. Consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing any physical, mental health, or mindfulness practice. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, illness, or discomfort.
Some Services are free. Others require payment through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Yoke Yoga apps are available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those versions must comply with the respective store terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for Yoke Yoga content or maintenance. Billing and refunds for in-app purchases are handled by the relevant store.
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@yokeyoga.com. Yoke Yoga may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of Terms, safety risks, policy violations, or prolonged inactivity. Account termination may result in deletion of associated content, subject to licenses already granted and legal obligations.
Yoke Yoga may collect and use aggregated, de-identified data for analytics, improvement, and research. Such aggregated data is owned exclusively by Yoke Yoga and does not include personal information.

The Services and all content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or any particular outcomes.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yoke Yoga and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or substitute services. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of 100 dollars or the amount you paid to Yoke Yoga in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yoke Yoga, its officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Members and collaborators agree to protect any proprietary or confidential information shared by Yoke Yoga. Do not copy, share, or use confidential materials outside the platform without written consent.
Communicate respectfully and avoid public disparagement. If you have concerns, contact support@yokeyoga.com for resolution.
We aim to resolve issues informally first. If we cannot, both parties agree to binding arbitration in Los Angeles, California, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules, in English, with one arbitrator. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Small claims court in Los Angeles County or your local county remains available for eligible claims.
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
If your access to Yoke Yoga is provided through an employer, school, or organization, that enterprise agreement will govern to the extent of any conflict with these Terms. If your access is sponsored by an employer or organization and that payment arrangement ends, access to those paid services may be limited or converted to a personal account at your choice and cost.

Sections regarding licenses granted, ownership, confidentiality, indemnity, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and any terms that by their nature should survive, continue after termination.
You may not transfer or assign your account or these Terms without written consent from Yoke Yoga. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of our business.
You are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to your use of Yoke Yoga or any payments you receive under a separate monetization addendum. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
These Terms, plus any policies referenced here and any signed addenda such as a Member Monetization Addendum, are the complete and exclusive agreement between you and Yoke Yoga and replace all prior agreements related to the Services.
Yoke Yoga is a shared practice. We are building this space together, one breath, one practice, one post, one act of care at a time. Thank you for helping create a connected sangha home for wellness with yoga that is authentic, inclusive, and alive.
